Actually, microscopy in general can often be manipulative as well, because everything is determined precisely by the angle and the type of lighting.


I just specially slightly readjusted the light and the objective filter — the microscope isn’t that fancy, but this way the entire black part you see is the cutting edge, and the lighter part is the rest of the blade.


I simply find it interesting and curious to save such things.

This is roughly the same magnification, around ×400, maybe a bit more; this is already a different, digital and slightly less flexible microscope.


On the other hand, through it you can view and show such moments more clearly.


Like, all the dark part is the area where I sharpened.
