Picked up a sandblaster for $50 and some rock sliders from a buddy on a Toyota forum built for me.

Got 2 coats of self etching primer and 3 coats of topcoat. Will probably install before a trail ride this weekend.

Random thought. The very last standard configuration Utility Fighter is on the machines right now. It's being beveled on the new Mori right now and will go over to the other Mori for trim out and swedge by the time I post this. Then I'm modifying the tooling over the weekend to make some of the dagger grinds. Since the tooling will be changed I won't be able to go back and make more of the original. So that puppy is good and truly done. It feels weird because these are tools I made years ago on machines I don't even have any more. It's a little like reaching back in time.
Great movie!
Sad day for sureBut it's time to move on to the DAGGER Grinds

Nice and daggy sounds great to meSince the design was never originally intended to be a dagger I'm taking the opportunity to make a few minor tweaks to the design. Dropped the point to be more in line with the handle, removed some of the belly, added a little to the spine. They're minor tweaks but it's nice and daggy.
