Pretty safe to stick with white trim. If you don't like white for the main walls, shades of grey is nice. Black accent is fine but a strong color like green or red or blue is pretty classic too on a house like that.

For that house, I think that I would probably stick with white for the walls (more traditional), and then I would go with green for the trim.

It also depends on where you live. If you live in San Francisco, then maybe have fun and paint it a rainbow. If you live in Poughkeepsie then different colors might be in order.

White and Green were classic homesteader colors growing up in Alaska (or at least it seemed that way to me), which is part of why I always liked the combo. It was also the color of the old family farm house in Minnesota.

My house now is yellow with white trim and red accents. It is thoroughly unremarkable looking, but nice enough.

it's just paint, besides, a little colour never hurt anyone

Great to hear!
My father’s place had about a foot of debris covering the yard but no trees down. His neighbor had a large pine come down on the roof but no structural damage. All in all not bad for 80+ mph winds moving through.
Their houses are all on stilts so flooding wasn’t an issue.
