The money has been "funny" for quite a while now. I won't mind a couple of added zeros, albeitfunny-money to my bank account TBT but the same idiots who were screaming a decade ago about the future of their children and grandchildren, have no problem these days just to print and then to give it away.

For the record, I think that in times of extreme hardship, printing away is the only bad option among many other terrible options but no one had ever said that printing away should also come with no Qs asked! It's just the hypocrisy of it all mang! Gawd bless our rights for 1A ;)

The last time during this pandemic when I went to my local credit union to withdraw cash for under the mattress stash, I was limited to 2K. That was it. Try to be cute and do it 5 x and then it will probably trigger the IRS flags and who in their right mind would want that? I'm in no cash as in cash business to scoop away undeclared cash income so all that I can do is to spend or to deposit in someone else's account. If I wanted to hug, sniff and cuddle with my own $avings (gross idea but comforting in principle), I'd have a better chance just TGFM!

Yessir, my Silky Big Boy + the plastic sheath (separate item) are both up by 25-30%. I've also noticed price inflation with the gun Pelican cases and things too.

ETA: must make up a new #tag

Not sure why the prices for Silky saws went up, as they're Made in Japan (supply issues? factory closure in Japan due to Covid-19?).

Pelican cases though, started climbing last year, and with some products, Fall 2018.

A case that I bought for $178 (down from the then normal price of about $202), hasn't been under $200 since 2018. Most of last year, it was in the $230 - $250 range. Looks like it's up 6% from that, but it's not like it went from $200 to $250 in 2-3 months.

Some things though, were really ridiculous. Eg. Augason Farms Powdered whole eggs, on 1/24, $17.99 for a 2lbs #10 can. On 2/4, $70 for the same can! (Looks like it's still close to $70 on 'zon). Lol.

I like inflation. It makes my debt worth less...

If this lil bugger lingers on and then comes back for a second or third servings, a lot of old debts may very well have to be forgiven and then things set back to ZERO like it never happened. Of course there are already some talks regarding this idea but for now, they are WRT the 70+ poorest indebted nations and not poorest debtor nationals or citizens.

If that should also apply to first world nations like U.S, lotta investors would be totally p*ssed like mind blown over their Uncle Sam issued IOUs (US Treasury notes) becoming worthless in a blink. Don't be so surprised if China ends up having to forgive a lotta of our national debt.

They look delicious!

It brings me great joy and satisfaction to bring Bambi home and turn it into a fresh plate of homemade venison nachos and tacos. In my worthless opinion, nothing makes better Mexican food than venison. There’s almost no grease so your tacos, burritos, taquitos, etc don’t fall apart while you’re eating them :)
Add in some fresh from the garden salsa and a beer and you have an excellent way to finish a day.

Makes better chili too

For those who haven't tried it, venison is firm and fine grained which make beef seem coarse and mushy. It's lean red meat that gets tough if overcooked and it can taste funny if the deer was eating a lot of red oak acorn or pine nuts, but white oak, clover and corn fed deer tastes really good. It was never domesticated because who wants a 100 pound farm animal that can jump a 10 foot fence <--- cows are less effort for a pound of meat, but if you ever have the chance to try really good (well fed, head shot, aged, clean) deer meat you should try it.

Steve Rinella did a couple of Cuoes deer hunts in Sorona Mexico. Cuoes deers are indigenous to some parts of MX and as compared to the whitetail deers in the U.S, they are even smaller, leaner and harder to hunt. In one episode (Meateater on Netflix) they did the whole cook fest right after the hunt on a ranch in Soriona. IIRC, tacos, tamales, chillies, the whole nine yards...

Ugh! I have now gone almost 2 months W/O a haircut. Yesterday I had a baseball cap on (I'm not a hat or cap guy) and when I took it off, it looked like I had another cap under my cap! Yup, my hair had morphed into another cap! I am this close to taking out the electric trimmer to shave it all off but my Lilly-livered commie attitude feels too badly for the cute Asian girl who has been cutting my hair for the last 7+ years!

Had it been Eric of the fonedork fame, he'd still send his "stylist" the $40-50 even though he ended up cutting his own because he's even a bigger commie than me :D
