Biatch about Cali all you want you haters but if Davey Crocket saw the same thing from afar, no wonder he ran to it shoeless. I’d be in his shoes too if I were him :p

Maybe I’m wrong about Crocket, could’ve been another shoeless pioneer!

You natives are almost as bad as me who is a know-nuttin when it comes to the early American history! I wasn't born here so that is my excuse but what is yours?! Anyway, the frontier man I was thinking about who I had mistakenly cited as Davey Crocket was in fact Kit Carson!

Ha! Figured that is who you mean’t, just couldn’t pass up a chance for a bit of humor. And no, I have absolutely no excuse at all:D

I got those two all mixed up but that doesn’t negate the fact that Kit Carson in his own right was still one tough hombre whose shoeless adventure and trek in the prickly and rocky terrain of then San Diego was very much noted in his memoire.

My poor brother! My mom put this on my high school graduation poster. X-ray at the dentist found metal in my brothers lip years later. I’ve alway had a love for knives but maybe it was not always a positive thing!

^ I'd be lying if I say that watching all that doesn't back some sweet memories :D

ETA: as some may already know, the Daytona Spyder used in the show was a corvette based replica.

If memory serves me correct. The company that made the Daytona kit was sued by Ferrari. The kit was that good looking. There was a couple of those kit cars floating around here way back then. I really really wanted one too !!!!! :-)

Real 365 GTB/4s were very rare and expensive even back then so they had to use replicas with the wear and tear they were putting on before they finally blew it up with that stinger heat seeking missile. LOL.
