Oh no, my friend, no fire pokin' for that fk. I had been scraping out the charred portions of sweet spoon I was making. :D

Used the other knife love of my life for the majority of roughing out the handle.

That’s awesome! I’d never use a knife either. Actually the kids favorite thing to do while I’m setting everything up is go on a mission to find a fire poking stick. They always bring back way too many, but they love it and it keeps them out of my way while I set things up, so I don’t mind.

Martin, Jo & Nathan have a very great thing going on in this sub. A bunch of us used to reside on another sub before there was a CPK sub, but that turned out that maker never cared for his community. I am certainly very blessed by the friendships, the kinships and the brotherhood which followed from the other place and then expanded in here by leaps and bounds.

Thank you for the kind words and allow me a few seconds while I adjust this horseshoe which is now lodged a bit uncomfortably :P

Seriously, WTF guys??? O_o Remove thine heads from thine rears. Political discussion, commentary, etc. needs to stay in the Political Arena s/f, as per the site rules. Simple as that. The thread got locked for that reason, drop it already.
