OK, out of curiosity, which of the following three knives would you rather have in your BOB and why...?

Satin Jack
Busse Basic 7
SRKW Camp Tramp

This does assume you could not run out with your SH or BM.

I would take my Satin Jack out of the three knives listed. My main reason is that I use the pommels on my Busses for hammering etc. a lot. The SJ would stand up to this use better than the knives with the Resiprene handles. All three are fine knives but I have to go with the Satin Jack. IMHO YMMV

I like the grip on the CT alot better than the basic 7

Satin Jack, primarily because of the pommel feature.

All would be ideal, but I would probably take the CT for its extra heft and hence versatility. I don't use pommels to hammer with.

duh...The Satin Jack.

INFI tough, Macarta handles, heavy enough to beat the hell out of and it will ask for more.
Even if the handles get ripped off, you can still use it.
