Randys work has always amazed me, when I held one of his knives for the first time I felt this thing, well a thing hard to describe (electrifying connection with something, a good feeling, whatever) this piece of art was made by a man with more than great craftsmanship and eye for detail, hence, I was searching for the word soul.
If you like custom knives and see a Doucette around, dont hesitate you cant go wrong with this maker, I believe his work will become more pricy soon.
Look at this knife, everything is just perfect, I love the blade design and CPM-S30V steel. Magnificent dual Carbon Fiber bolsters giving this piece of art the embellishment it deserves, the contrast with the stunning Quilted Maple Wood scales and shape of the handle makes this Heirloom a stunning piece to behold.
The finishing is second to none, anodized and jeweled Titanium liners with matching clip are just icing on the cake.
