Anyone here have much experience with the rak? I am looking at it or the rd. I like the point and thickness of the R.a.k., but would prefer some hunter orange handles (I know they are options on the rd6 I do not know about the rak.) Let me know which you like better and why - it will help with my decision.

Thanks guys!

I'm sure Justin could put scales on for you if you ask him.. Send him an e-mail. He's cool to deal with.

have both, the RAK got modified like no other...alot of the features on it seemed useless to me...i dont need a squirrel crusher pommel and that finger seperator is awefully big and gets in my way...
the RD is a much better choice in my opinion and the ergos are much more suited to wood work right out of the box...you might find that the RAK may need to be modified to suit wood work or you may not...
remember Justin will do just about anything you want in a blade.. i have a RD6 in 1/4 inch 1095...its a monster...

what is his address so I can contact him about putting orange scales on a knife I have.
thanks
bryan

mine is right beside me. i had Justin give it a full convex and cord wrap. it gets more use than any of my other large knives. i love the giant choil and spear point.
