Total beater. I've used it to split mucho bamboo and palm trees.....baton-ing with a small sledge hammer. And it shows. Always sharpened with a file or a sharpening steel. Replaced one rivet on handle with an aluminum nut and bolt - ground flush with an angle grinder. Used naval jelly and a wire brush to get rid of rust so the finish is spotty. Ugly but fully functional No sheath. No picture either. Very cool knife.
