Rangermade Knives "Sicario" Number One!

Winner of "Best Art Knife" and "Best of Show" at the Lone Star Knife Expo 2018

This is my newest and most technical model; the "Sicario". This linerlocking folder features a complex internal screw system that allows the knife to be assembled with no visable assembly screws. The "Sicario" represents my best efforts to bring the tactical knife into the art knife realm.

This special piece features a 3-1/2" blade crafted from Joe Burke laddered W Damascus steel forged from 1095 and 15N20. The backspacer is made from the same Burke Damascus and the pattern is matched up at the blade/backspacer intersection. The blade is riding between handmade, hand lapped silicon bronze washers for extra smooth action and long life.

The full length scales are 416 stainless steel and feature exquisite engraving and gold inlay by renown engraver, Jake Newell. Jake is well known in the engraving world as a jewelry and watch engraver and is a instructor at the GRS engraving school in Emporia, Kansas.

Other details in this knife include jeweling of the inside of the anodized titanium liners and micro stippling of the perimeter of the liners. The 416 stainless thumbstud also features a hand-set ruby.

This is a very special piece and will stand out in any collection for its' unique and stylish lines and exemplary fit and finish.
