I recently purchased a TGLB, a Ratmandu, and have a Mean Street in the mail. After only two weeks of average use I have a vibration and rattling in the handles of my TGLB. It is noticed when tapped with your palm or knuckle on the handles. Now I have what some say is a substantial amount of cash invested in these knives. I was very excited to get into the BUSSE MADNESS. Keyword.....was excited. Now, I feel that after batoning and hacking the wood I did this weekend there shouldn't have been any issue at all. Upon posting a thread I have people tell me to send it in...and ...that's covered under warranty. ..they'll fix it for free..........SO F'N WHAT!!!!! .....a $450 knife shouldn't have handles that vibrate or rattle. ....where is the warranty going to be when the end of the world comes? I was thinking that a GOOD warranty is one you don't have to use the first two weeks you own a knife? Maybe it's just me?........no ......hell no.....it's not me. Anybody want these hunks of junk?

These things happen and you are completely covered.
If you are giving it away, i'll take it.

Being covered isn't my issue. ....having $450 in a knife with handles that rattle and vibrate IS my issue.

I agree, i thought those were actually flawless. BUSSE knives are all hype in my opinion. Infi is proprietary but is probably just an alloyed 52100. Their stuff seems absurdly overpriced for a basic carbon steel...jus saying their profit margins are amongst the highest in the knife world.

I mean come on man......what am I supposed to do?......Send it in....they fix it......send it back......I use it........problem arises again.....I send it back......they fix it.....send it back......send it back......send it back......send it back....WTF?

I don't know what to say about this other than....deal with it. Stuff happens and that's that way it goes. Why not just utilize the warranty and carry on? It looks like you were already given the best advice. Take it or leave it.
