Hi,
I made a new Rapier sword. Steel is 15N20 and UHB20C combination Damascus. Blade is 850 mm. Handle is ebony and lenght 180 mm. Guard and pommel is same combination damascus. Thanks for watching.

The blade is cool, but dude, that handle. WOW.

I would recommend also posting this over in custom and handmade. There are people over there who don't come over here as often who I am sure would love to see this.
 
That is beautiful Sefa. I would love to see how you constructed the guard. It looks like a flat piece was split into multiple connected pieces for the most part. Did you forge weld parts too?

I enjoy the varieties of swords and knives you share.

And it's a through tang with a peened pommel?

HOLY cow! My love for swords since I was little is what brought me here to make knives... now I need to make enough knives to attempt a sword. Thanks for continuing the addiction! :D

The sword is very beautiful. I do not know much about swords. Is the asymmetric guard functional as well as artistic?
