This is a prototype from Seki City, which I believe was offered as an example to Valor Cutlery in the late 70s early 80s. Seki assembled balisongs for Valor, Taylor, Parker, and Frost for several years before import was banned. No manufacturer markings. 440C 3.5" blade is sharp. Skeletonized steel handles have brass liners. Flips perfectly. I used to collect 80s vintage balisongs and owned over 50. Got rid of all of them except for a Imai, a Fiji, a Cho Ni So, and this beauty. Sold the other 3 and kept this one. Only balisong I have left... decided balisong just isn't my thing. Paid over 100 for this. Will be willing to part with it for only $65 shipped.

Although this looks like a cheapie, it is one of the best quality balisongs I've ever owned. Flips very smoothly, brass latch is secure open and closed. Seki City steel is still factory sharp. Did a test cut on paper towels and it cut deep. Appears unused but has light wear to the handles from being unboxed in a drawer for 30 years. Extraordinary deal at this price. No real collectable value but an outstanding balisong for flipping, carry, and use. Not presented as a "user" because blade appears like new.
