I just watched Spyderco Native (Blue G-10 Cpm440V) with BladeForums.com etched on the blade sell for BIG bucks on eBay.... Maybe Spyderco will get the message and make some more G-10 Natives. Or a Carbon Fiber Mini Manix. Or some more G-10 & Carbon Fiber Police models!!!!! Just thinking out loud!!! ~baba~

Well to be fair, one reason it sold for so much is that Forum knives in general and that piece in particular didn't sell well from the maker. I think they lost money on the deal, since they changed their Forum knife releases soon after that. Few examples on the street means, few examples for collectors, means higher price demand amongst the few collectors who collect such things. That doesn't necessarily translate well to justifying the expense of making up such again from a maker's standpoint.

OTOH, Spyderco does listen to Sprint requests and some get answered...maybe a new Sprint of Natives well get released some time. ;)

Would love to see an All Black Native III: Black blade, Black G10 or FRN, black anodised wire clip. Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing a PINK Native III either :P

Or perhaps you are connecting the dots incorrectly. To put that auction in a bit of perspective, that blue G-10 Native sold for only a few bucks more than THIS blue FRN Native III. I don't think anyone in their right mind would suggest Spyderco should produce another run of that turkey.
