Rare Book Found at ICCE Show

While attending the ICCE Show last weekend I was fortunate enough to obtain a very rare & seldom offered book; copy #5 of "The Antique Bowie Knife Book" by Bill Adams, J. Bruce Voyles & Terry Moss. Copies of #10 and below just don't avail themselves on the market so this was quite a rare find.

This is one of the original leather bound copies signed by Bill Adams. I would consider it to be in "Used--Very Good" condition.

Awesome find. I managed to borrow a copy of that book through the interlibrary loan system, and hang onto it for a couple weeks. I was sorely tempted to tell them I lost it, and pay the fine. :)
 
Gary, c'mon, you've been here long enough to know you need at least a Gold level membership to sell items here at BFC. Please edit your 'for sale' post above until you've upgraded your membership level.

You need a Basic membership to post a trade thread,
a Gold membership to sell what you've bought,
a Knife maker membership for what you have made,
or a Dealer membership if you sell for others.

Once you pay for your membership, go back to Paid Subscriptions to see when it takes effect. PayPal costs more and takes longer to go through. Credit card payments are automated.

Then go to Settings (upper right)
then to Permission Groups (left side)
then select your correct membership level.

I have the same book, only the non-leather bound copy. Mine was signed to Bruce Voyle's wife by Bill Adams. Bruce is who I purchased it from years ago.

Good stuff inside! Some of oldest and rarest historical US knives, all displayed clearly (shot through the old film format!)

I believe that this book will appraise at $1800-2200.

I will accept any offer of $1600 or better.

Good luck man, you might wanna try selling it on some of the other venues, because selling ANY book for the same price as a nice custom knife is hard to do.
