"Here are the 100 Wet Environment Recon Knives. We developed this knife for our Friends at the U.S. Marine Corp. Force Recon Training Unit. They wanted a knife that was more Corrosion resistant than the Bravo-1 for constant exposure to wet conditions. The Wet Enviro Recon is slimmer than the Bravo-1 but just as sturdy. The Blade is Saber Ground to match the geometry of the thicker and higher Ground Bravo-1 so that cutting and edge spine thickness are the same. We are offering these 100 units in the handle assortment ordered by Our Dealers and Distributors.
These 100 are very much like the Small Prototype Batch we made earlier. These Blades on these are Wider and the Handle has been re- contoured to have less limiting use in different holds of the knife. The handles are also taller to work better with the Wider Blade. This entire run of 100 have been totally hand ground and the handles were all hand fit and hand Ground. In Essence--these 100 are Custom Knives. Specs: Overall Length: 9.5 Inches, Blade Length: 4.750 Inches, Blade Steel:12C27 @ 58rc, Blade Thickness: .165 Inch, Weight:5.75 Ounces, This is still not an Official Production run of this model because each of these is totally Hand Shaped and Hand Ground. We are going to just have One Price Point for all of these variations. The Suggested Retail of any of these is $214.95"
