Are we going to hear variations of "I've got a MEFO" all night? ;) Just a questian wouldn't you guys have noticed the variation between your blade and the others pictured. Or looked at the blade and noticed the E as oppposed to an O?

That little "e" is no more than a few milimeters in size and since there isnt much difference between an "e" and "o" at quick glance it could very well be overlooked for a while.

Peter, some of us are getting old and don't notice the fine print, I guess all I looked at was how cool the knife was I received it!
:D

Yes, those MOFOs, MOJOs and now MEFOs are very cool blades. Anyone actually use them?

Absolutely... I use mine to slice, chop, mince and pry air everyday with it :D  :p

Advantages:

Longer cutting edge vs. blade length

Reverse curve near the choil forces item to be cut into the normal curve near the belly, so more natural cutting leverage on most draw cuts.

Depending on the particular design, it shifts the point of balance forward, resulting in high chopping ability relative to weight.

Looks really cool.

Disadvantage: Hard to sharpen on normal width benchstones.

Difficult to use in some kitchen type cutting tasks, like dicing onions, and any other cut where you would be wanting to make a push cut when the rope/hose/whatever is supported by a cutting surface.

Thanks, I may have to pick one up.

Did the Limited Edition come witha zero edge? That would be a wicked user.

Very nice picture and collection. Do the mofos have a zero edge? Which of the mofo or mojo do you like more?

If I ever want to get the other 59 to complete the set I know where to get a good start!
