This 52100 Integral Utility is such a nice little knife to carry, although I only ever carried it once, and used it to cut one piece of string. Since then, I've stored it in air conditioned, smoke free home, with all the rest of 'em!
Blade length: 4 3/8", with just under 4" sharpened edge
Overall: 8 1/2"
Thickness: A nice and thin 1/8"
Thanks, Shane
P.S. Here is some more info, from Tony Mock, the maker of this 52100 Utility:
The tang is forged square, extends about 2.5" into the handle and has been burned into the handle to make it a good tight fit, it's got a strong Epoxy holding it in (an experimental 3M Epoxy I've had great experiences with). There's a leather washer between the shoulder of the integral part of the knife and the handle to allow rounded corners at the tang boss (to prevent stress risers in the steel) and keep the handle at it's full strength, since it would be pretty thin to allow for the thick tang at the shoulder.
The handle is tiger maple, and the oil finish is somewhat permeable, which means it will darken with use and handling, but also means it won't ever get too slippery.
