I have a few blocks of rare curly Black Olive available. These are natural, not stabilized.

Black Olive is heavy, VERY dense and VERY hard. Stable as is. This would be in the same class as african blackwood and ironwood as far as density and hardness. Very solid and defect free. These remind me of a mix of koa and claro walnut as far as grain, figure and color though they are MUCH harder and denser than either of those.

Nice big blocks with nice curl figure throughout on both sides and edges.

Fred...I replied to your PM. But so there's no confusion, I'm posting a clip from my response to you here for future reference.

'How it works' is this: This is a first come, first served business whether it's knives, wood or anything else. I really couldn't care less if it's by phone, email, posts in the thread, PM, shop visit or note via passenger pigeon. First come, first served....period.
