Special Forces Dagger.

Edge co. summer of 1993:

Worlds best fighting knife
Designed for Special Forces Units
SF - IV Wasp military Re - Con dagger
Made by Explorer USA.
7 inch blade 440a - RC - 54.

Overall length is 12 inches
Blade is 7 inches, 1 1/4 at the widest point,
3+mm thick at the ricasso.

Knife is NOS, I dont think it was ever sharpened, or used, no marks
on the handle or blade, very minor marks on the leather sheath.
This is a unique model of fighting knife.
There is a pouch in the sheath, that carries two sets of finger guards,
of two different sizes. A locking knob on the bottom of each set
allows it to lock them in the handle. Once locked, and fitted onto fingers,
it allows you to spin the knife in hand for different attack/block
combinations. Making sure, you will not lose the knife, and protecting
fingers at the same time. Finger grooves on the ricasso, allow one in the survival situation to take handle off, tie the dagger to the pole of the desired length to those grooves. Making it a very affective spear.

Knife is numbered at the ricasso - #21 out of 180 made
Rosewood laminated handles are in perfect condition and damage free.

Knifes sheath is a work of art on its own. Very THICK, top quality leather.
Belt loop carries an insert, that allows along with lanyard on the bottom of the sheath many different types of fastening. Both on the waist and leg.
Please see pictures. Upper part of the sheath can be taken off completely,
thus allowing a boot knife style carry.

Knife is in perfect condition, razor sharp, cutting edge is butter smooth on both sides,point is perfectly straight and sharp.
