As you probably know if you have ever tried to find pivot nuts for the XM18, you can't find them. Anywhere. I went to extreme measures to have these made (aftermarket obviously, not OEM) with tight tolerances and an excellent finish. They are for the 3.5" model and are made from 440c stainless steel, hardened to 60rc (so you won't have wear like you would on a soft, annealed pivot shaft), polished, and tumbled. I only have 45 of these pivot nuts available, so get 'em while you can! They are $20 each with a $3 shipping charge per package. Limited matte black DLC pivot nuts are available for $25 (these will be at 55rc - OEM Hinderer Pivot nuts are at 40rc max so these are still plenty hard). The black ones are not a cheap black oxide treatment but a high quality DLC.

Also, I have matching SS pivot screws which are DLC coated matte black for anyone interested in a matching pair - $12 ea.

Responded! Also for those interested I will be having some of these coated with DLC.
 
Would love to see these in all the anodized colors that Hinderer offers but I know that wouldn’t be cost effective. Mine is bronze trimmed and a bronzed pivot nut would look good. :)

Wanted to add in the thread here I received the one I ordered modded to fit my 3” and it is a good looking part if you’re on the fence about ordering one. Nice work.
 
I've got a few black DLC'd nuts in right now, just bumping this up for anyone interested... Going to coat more but it will be another month or so before I have more black ones.
