Up for sale is a rarely seen Hissatsu tanto as made by James Williams' original knife company Ancient edge. I absolutely love the Hissatsu by CRKT and when this one showed up for sale I had to have it. Some things that set this one apart are the blade steel being ATS-34 and the fact that the blades were hand ground by Bob Engnath.
I'll include links to a Bladeforums thread that discusses the development and history of the knife below.
The only reason I'm selling it is to buy something else that is calling my name right now and I also have other Hissatsu knives, albeit the less rare CRKT versions.
It does have some minor cosmetic issues but only rubbing on the finish from being removed and put back in the sheath. It's never been cut with and is hair popping sharp.
