This is one of the rarest Spydies. It was a limited run of 500 in the early 90's. It took me over a year to find one when I was looking. It is NIB and has never been carried.

Yours for $139 shipped and insured in the CONUS only. I'll pay the PayPal fees.

hi . can i ask why so many only ship in conus?
if the international knife fanatics will pay the shipping, what other issues are ther, is it complex to ship or?

Thanks for your interest. When shipping outside the US, I've encountered several issues:

  • US items can use an online label and be dropped in a postal collection box. Export items require the completion of a customs form and in-person submission at the post office, with lines that average a 30-40 minute wait time.
  • International buyers often ask me to falsify the customs forms for tax reasons or fear that the knife might be confiscated.
  • International shipping costs are significantly higher, and buyers typically ask me to share in the higher cost.
  • International shipping takes longer and I've dealt with impatient buyers.
  • International shipping doesn't provide proof of delivery and can be an issue if the buyer never gets the item. There are also insurance limitations.
  • All that leads one to go to UPS or FedEx, but that increases the cost and complexity. UPS, for example charges a $5 fee to pick up the package from my home.

thanks for the response, i wasnt aware it was such a issue for you to ship overseas like that. o well, just have to drool then.

If it isn't too late could you please try and do me a favor. Could you see if the G10 on yours reacts under a black light. My Blue Abalone version turns green, and I've yet to find another of that run- they are great knives!

I'm sorry you have had such bad experiences shipping across the border.

Sorry, no black light.
