1. Boker Sky Walker #2075 $225.00
Discontinued. The Boker Sky Walker was designed by knife maker and designer Michael Walker, the originator of the super strong and light weight Liner-lock system. It was produced in Solingen, Germany using the strongest and most advanced materials at the time. It was one of the first folding knives to feature carbon fiber scales and anodized blue titanium liners. Scales are attached with torx screws. It weighs only 2.3 ounces. Blade length is 2.875, Overall length is 7, Closed is 4.25. Steel is German 440C. Blade style is Drop Point-Spear Point. It comes in the gift boxed aluminum case, foam lined, in its plastic bag with all the papers. This a collectible folder, a stepping stone in the evolution of folding knives.

Discontinued. 1993 Blade Magazines Imported Knife of the Year. Factory new in a presentation box aluminum case with papers, the Boker Delta 2040 is an elegant looking knife that has a black ceramic blade with a grey titanium handle. Made in Solingen, Germany, the Blade length is 3.125. Overall is 7.5. Closed is 4.375. Ceramic will stay sharp ten times longer than your average stainless steel knife. Blade style is clip point. Ceramic bladed knives are not suitable for cutting hard materials or wire. This a collectible folder, another stepping stone in the evolution of folding knives.

Another Solingen, Germany production, the Boker Plus Elegance has a slim elegant profile. Weight is just 2.5 ounces. The knife features black contrasting contoured carbon fiber scales mounted over titanium liners. The lock is non-automatic push button lock. The satin finished 2.625 Drop Point blade is made of 440C stainless steel. Overall length is 6.625.

4. Boker USA (non-auto) Top Lock #703, NIB $old
Discontinued. Imported from Germany, the Boker USA Top Lock II is a sleek knife that features a Solingen 4034 satin finish, flat ground, drop point, plain edge stainless steel blade and aluminum handles for ease in use and lighter carry. The handles have beautiful African Thuya wood inserts. The knife comes with a Cordura sheath that can be worn horizontally or vertically for convenient carry. The blade length is 2.75, overall 6.76, closed 4.0. The lock is a plunge-lock, not automatic. The weight is 2.5 ounces. The knife is solid.

The reviewer is looking at the automatic version, which this is not. He comments about blade play which this knife does not have.
5. Gerber Chameleon III #06435, NIB $OLD
Discontinued. Even though it resembles one, this is not a combination eyepiece/knife. The open pivot design allows you an ergonomic hold with little chance of slippage (called a Saf-T-GripT and Handle by Gerber). The blade length is 2.75, overall 7.125, closed 4.25. The weight is 3.4 ounces. It has a bolt-action lock mechanism. The blade is a serrated modified drop-point/clip-point and made from 400 series stainless steel. The handle is black fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic. The knife comes with a ballistic nylon belt sheath. This is a very unusual design for the user or collector.

6. CRKT Onion Hi Jinx #k80txp, NIB $750.00
Overall Knife of the Year at 2014 Blade Show and awarded by Blade Magazine
Unavailable. The CRKT Ken Onion designed Hi Jinx is a limited production folder made in Italy for CRKT by Lion Steel Knives, a well known high-end knife maker. The drop-point, flat grind, plain edge blade is 3.3 of Bohler Uddholms Sleipner satin finished steel (similar to D2 steel). A frame lock, it features unusual concave scalloped handles of 6al4v titanium. A flipper, it rolls on an IKBS pivot system, very smooth. Overall length is 8.0, and closed it is 4.78, weighing a very solid 6 ounces. It is a knife for a collector or user of means. Of all the new knives produced in 2014 none was better than the Hi Jinx per Blade.
