Some of you MODS may know the history of this particular knife better than I do, But here's the version I heard. There is an unknown quantity of this particular Hawk, but I do have one of them. Reese Weiland hand ground the balde. Then Walter Brend put a Satin finish on it. Then (the old) Tony Marfione put the final polished edge on the blade and assembled it. There are no markings on the knife anywhere, no Daggers, no Claws, not even a logo or serial number. It is totally sterile.
If you check Valmet's list, you'll find:
(?)Sterile Hawk = $500+
I am asking $500 - a fair price for a piece that has gone through the hands of such skilled craftsmen. Now I have no idea how many are out there, but my educated guess would be very few.
Please add $15 for shipping and insurance. I would prefer a USPS M.O. but will do PayPal if necessary. No fees to buyer.
I should add that the knife is in LNIB condition, although there is no box or papers that came with it. I purchased this knife quite a few years ago from a reputable Dealer on these Forums. This is your chance to own a rare knife worked on by VERY talented knifemakers. Remember, this is a vintage knife by MT whenTony cared about quality and the customer!!
Photos on request.

edited to add a couple of photos, but I'll have to shrink them first.
