Time to let go of my Strider. This is an sng model with the black Lego g10 and flamed titanium. I purchased this knife new around 4 years ago at Reed's in Santa Clara, Ca. At the time, the only authorized brick and mortar in my area.
The knife spent a month or so mainly going for a ride in my pocket. What little use it saw was the occasional letter or piece of cardboard. Hence the marks on the blade finish. There are also minor scratches to the titanium, visible when held at an angle to the light. All blems are clearly visible in the photos and video.
Please note, this sng was made prior to the redesign of the lock now currently being used in new Strider knives. This knife has the slightly concave shape to the lock. As a preventive measure, I recently sent this knife to the Strider Spa to be fitted with a slightly larger diameter stop pin. No lock rock before and certainly none now. Lockup is around 55-60%. The edge was also touched up before leaving the spa although it certainly didn't need it. It has gone completely unused since being returned from the spa.
