Up for sale is a super rare, perfectly preserved piece by Jim Ray and hand-ground by Walter Brend. The mirror black finish on the blade was created by flaming the ATS-34 steel in the presence of a proprietary gaseous mixture. The knife has a recessed, oval-shaped firing button. It fires like it's brand new, and there is a small amount of blade play at the top (hasn't changed since it was purchased). The knife was purchased with a custom leather presentation case. The case is coffin-style, with a beautiful swede interior. Handcrafted by Edd Lucas. There's a good chance that one of these won't make it up for sale for years, if ever again.
