This is a rare opportunity to own a ready-to-go-to-war condition, original WW2 M3 Trench Knife.
I purchased this knife from the estate of a WW2 vet; it was missing the original stacked leather handle and sheath, so I decided it was the perfect candidate to be brought back to life and restored just as soldiers often did on the field of battle. I handed it over to a talented knifemaker who crafted a custom dark walnut handle that fits the hand perfectly and mimics the shape of the original stacked leather. He also artfully re-used the original but-cap and guard, and left all of the original patina intact on the fittings and blade. Then the knife was given to a master sheath maker who made a beautiful custom black leather belt sheath for it.
A lot of time and skill went into restoring this blade, but the result is amazing. You will never see a M3 like this again!
SOLD shipped conus.
