What are everyone opion on the most importent 112s variations ??? The top 10 ??? First issue of course..Thanks for the imput BUCKROOOOOOOOOS !

bucksway, I would just start by collecting the 112s that you really like, then as your collection grows, you could refine, by defining which of the rare knives you don't have, and concentrate on finding those. If you have downloaded Joe Houser's data sheet for the 110 & 112(in the sticky thread at the top of the Buck Forum page) and have a copy of Blade's Guide to Knives & Their Values, that info will help you to determine what has been made. There are not alot of gold etched blades in the 112 series. Keep in mind oddities and "one-of-a-kinds" are out there, and are always a welcome addition to any Buck collection. Here's a pic of the first 7 Versions of the 112, but there are other Variations within the 1st 7 too; top to bottom 1)First Version,2)Second Version, variation 1, 3)Third Version, 4) Fourth Version, 5)Fifth Version, variation 3, 6)Sixth Version, variation 1, & 7) Seventh Version

My favorite configuration: blade shape, drop point, finger grouves with the scales all the way to the end {like the 07 BC BCCI 110} full or partial chip flint and be a auto for perferection.....Scott,nice minty group of 112s! I like the rare odd 1 of a kind knives for the thrill of the chase...I guess I have a long way to go befor I show!
