Very nice! Where's the linen micarta in the handle? I'm a little confused with both of your Bowie's where you describe 2 different materials in the handle. Would the 2nd material mentioned in both of your knives handles be liners?

it looks nicce, when i started making knives i used horseshoe rasps and loved them. i would heat and forge the rasp bumps down and the grind flat. this makes it look like fish scales and keeps stuff out of the holes. but look very sweet, i just wish that the horseshoe rasps had the same pattern on both sides.

Mick 57 was interested in one of these Mike I'll send him an email right now. I'm thinking of buying it myself.

Thanks for the heads-up Martin, but too big for me. It's a beauty though, so just what you're looking for in a Bowie.
I'll be looking for something smaller from Mike in a rasp knife.
