Rat 1 - Really that good? Can it be true for so cheap!?

So people who say it is almost impossible to sharpen even after 3 attempts with a Spydie Sharpmaker... they're talking out of somewhere other than their mouth right? Thought so... lol

Whenever you hear people speak on how certain knives wouldn't get sharp after several times on the Sharpmaker, it's simply because the angle is too obtuse and the Sharpmaker isn't hitting the edge; thus not sharpening the blade.

I had this issue with several knives, then I bought a Wicked Edge and that problem ended. S30v at 38 degrees inclusive is as easy to get hair poping sharp on the Sharpmaker as 8cr13mov is. Literally a few swipes on my Sharpmaker's fine stones, and its shaving hair with ease. I literally just use my wicked edge for re profiling.

I love mine so much. they are very very stout and cut like lazers. The aus 8 is very good on them and holds an edge alot like vg10 or better in my opinion. It is also a very strong steel. I was cutting through the tip of a can of caulking and the blade came through and hit the edge of my steel trailer pretty hard, I did this twice and it left no chips or dents and the flat spot sharpend right out. And I put a pretty shallow edge on mine. They realy are bargains and are very good utility, edc or outdoors knives.

Had a few and traded a few I always seem to carry one from time to time though. Just a great no nonsense blade that will take anything you throw at it!
