rat 3--- V ---Ontario rat 3 in D2 steel

I think, and I could be wrong, but alot of confusion comes to persons who are not as familiar with the Ontario and RC story, and when they read posts, that it is confusing to distinguish which one they are referring too. I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, that when you see "RC 3" for example, it refers to Randall Cutlery which are made by Rowen for Randall Adventure and Training. RATs may just referring to the Ontario made products that were made for Randall Ad & Training. It may help to know that the 3was/is made by both (Ontario may have stopped now) and the 4,5 (?), and 6 are made by Rowen. The TAK, RTAK, RTAK 11, RAT 7 weere made by Ontario. I hope I did not muddy the waters, so please correct me if I got it wrong or only partly right.
