I think the bandanna is a great idea. They have had bandannas with maps printed on them, first aid instructions and survival instructions. I think it would be great to have a huge bandanna - someone mentioned 27X27" and that would be about as small as I would like to see - and have hardcore survival and first aid information on it. Not like you see the other companies selling.

I had an idea years ago that a custom knifemaker used to produce, a bandanna with a pocket in it which then evolved into two pockets with velcro closure, etc. Pretty slick. You could weight it down and it was basically a sap or you could put magnets in the pockets and you would never lose the badanna in high wind or on motorcycles, boats or convertibles, etc.

Then there was a dude online who had an idea for a bandanna with two pockets and me sister-in-law made me a couple of them. Pretty cool stuff.

A Kaffiya would be cool as well. The cap without the band - cool!

I would like to see tshirts made out of wicking material (preferably patagonia capilene) in short and long sleeve, oh and hoodies and beanies are a must!

I want ya'll to realize some of the things you're requesting could get spendy. I hesitate to get things that are going to be too spendy b/c I don't want to be stuck with them.

Make them pay you upfront so they don't leave you out in the cold. Of course most people know you would come after them anyways, so that shouldn't be a problem...

Yeah my wallet was crying reading some of the ideas being thrown out.

I like those nylon-type material pullover 'windshirts'. I have a few plain colors and one from the Airborne/Spec Opns Museum. They are great!
Just a thought FWIW...............

Regards,

Yep pay up front with a firm cut off date for payment. Get a quote if we have X# or Y# made up, it shouldn't be more than a couple bucks difference each. That way we know if 15 people who said they were buying backed out, it will cost a little more per unit.

Shirts are bad. You will get months of pissing and moaning if you allow it. It happened on the Missouri section of arfcom. "That logo, but printed on the back" and "No, it needs to be on the front!" and "No, a small logo on the chest where the pocket would be, then a big one on the back!"

Really, a hoodie designed just like the ESEE t-shirt would be good with me. Or just a big ESEE logo on the front.

The car club I used to show cars with with always complaining about the shirt they had for sale at the show and always wanted it printed on the back. Yes so we all look like we are wearing plain white tees when we talk to people.

One more vote for hoodies:thumbup: Long sleeve t-shirts are great too. If hats, flexfit are preferred.

We could use the new ESEE logo, but here's an idea of a big front logo....

This shirt designer I found is pretty neat. It actually looks pretty sweet in Navy and Gray too. My wife tells me I wear too much black. Ha!

We've learned from the rat pack knives that everyone can't be involved in the design process.

Absolutely. I got some rough estimates at lunch, $17-25 depending on weight and make of hoodie. Hanes heavyweight were more than the 50/50 blend and the Jerzee 50/50s were even cheaper. I'll play tonight if I don't have to work too late.

Looks like a nice response. I hope I didnt open a can of worms those who make the decisions:o. I know you all have plenty on your plate.

I think preordering/prepaying is a good idea. I wouldnt want anybody stuck with inventory they cant move. Lots of good ideas.

I am willing to help in any way I can if any of these projects get a green light.
