I love this little knife. It's starting to get a somewhat convexed edge, love it.

that leather wrap is nice how does it feel in your hands compared to paracord ?

Hi!

I've posted some other idea of the leather grip for The Ant here:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=703443

The reason I've changed the wrap was that the leather I've used was very thin.
For now I use waxed leather lace and the grip is very nice, a little sticky and secure.

In the future, if I'll found some good leather, I'm going to go back to my previous idea for the handle.

Do you mean it's too thin for your grip, or it wears out too quickly, just ask because I am tempted to get some leather lace like that, I like the raw looking stuff too that will smooth out as yu use it.

From all the materials you mentioned it sounds like you shop at craft stores? I feel weird walking around them being one of very few guys in there but they have a loy of good stuff, and usually buy stuff in larger quantities than places on the net charge.

I was afraid that it would wear quickly, it was the 3d class quality.

I'm buying supplies in small shops for shoemakers usually, and bigger or not common kind of leather in wholesale (sometimes I can buy small quantity).

I prefer rather local small shops (even if the price is a little bigger) than online suppliers :grumpy:
