RAT/ESEE knives are a plague!

Gr, got home to a notice that I'd missed the parcel dropoff, and can pick up my parcel tomorrow after 1pm. Too bad I work until 9pm. Agonizing letting my Izula sit for the next day and a half.

I started with an RC 6, I just ordered an RC 5 and an RC 3MIL... I haven't received any of them yet, UPS can be painfully slow...

It's all you guys and these pictures. I think I'm going to have to turn off images in my browser when I read this site.. You're killing me! ;)
 
I've pared down my collection to include only RATs and a Hinderer XM-18. RAT/ESEE is simply the best thing out there.

Soo, the Izula.

Pros
Sharp little guy. Shaving sharp out of the box, and will shave a fingernail with just its own weight.

Uber-tight sheath. I'd heard warnings about carrying the knife upside down in the sheath, because a sharp shock could knock it loose. There is no danger of that with mine, and it gives a very hefty click when it locks in to the sheath.


Cons
I have large hands.
I also have large fingers. Which don't really fit all the way through the lanyard hole. Which might have been a neat feature.
Only 50 feet of paracord. What was I thinking?
Why did it take me this long to get my first RAT?
 
You are all right, They are an addiction. RC 4, Izula, HEST. Started looking for accessories. I,ve been dealing with Supply Captain for a while. Its the best, I make knife lanyards. key fobs, bracelets and dog collars. Their 550 paracord is also reasonable and fast shipping.
 
You WILL buy more ESEE knives, don't deny it or try to resist, just give in and forfeit your whole paycheck to it.

Believe me it's easier than trying to fight it...
 
just ordered an RC-6 if i like it i'm hoping to get some cash and get an Izula. then figure out some piggy back sheath for them both. high hopes for the RC-6 though
