Got my first RAT today. An RC-4 with Molle locks. I like it.

nice choice Ken, the 4 could be my next ESEE, but for now my izula is suiting me fine. :D

I got this because I needed a knife for the Jeep BOB. The opportunity arose to finally snag one and I jumped on it. I never even handled one until I got it in my hands today. Fits well in my big mitts. I'll probably swap out the MOLLE locks for a Tek-Lok, though.
 
yeah i dont blame ya, the MOLLE locks are nice if you have the straps for it, but a tek lok is fairly versatile.
 
Very nice choice. Teks are a great option for it, and if you plan on belt carry, the molle back has a versitle belt loop that you can on/ off without removing your belt. I cut the retention Velcro off mine for faster draw, but that leaves the elastic pommel cover if you ever need to lock it down.

I dunno Shotty - that sounds like a "ransom of red chief" kind of deal - he may give it to you, but what's he gonna charge you to take it back off your hands once you realize what you've gotten into?
 
When did you convert ME? I been here since before you were even a mod. Troublemaker, grrr ... :D

I didn't convert. I'm a man of many faiths. RAT is just one in a short list of knife companies I support. :)
