RAT Izulu Kit - Lanyard Whistle?

I wouldn't mind adding the whistle found in the Izulu kit to a couple of my other lanyards. Does anybody know where I can find these for sale other than in the kits? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I also would like to know. Wouldn't be bad to attached these to a few pieces of gear(jacket, pack, etc) and forget about it until I need it.
