RAT Knives before RC Knives

Thank you guys for the very nice words. :)
But the real generous men are really the RAT Team in that story, they started the wave of giving and exchanging, Tony and I are just surfing on it !

Noticing your pics, our cat Luke is like your cat, he is into everything and has to sniff everything, especially when we come in from the out side, we get "nose frisked" and he gets upset if we don't hold still to let him do it, LOL.

LOL ! If cats could have their own forum on the internet it would be the "Carboard Box Forum dot com" ! (or "Feedme.com") !!! :D

That is one of the coolest things I've ver seen (the knife and the giveaway). Truely a special place...

I'll post pics of the Skinner laying next to the Livesay RTAK soon ( worked a deal to get the RTAK back from the guy that talked me out of it)

I will try and get pics of my laserstrike up tonight or tommorow, it's still in great shape and I also have the sheath and the firesteel it came with I think.

this was my first "survival knife" and I still do not regret buying it or wish it was something else, I have bought a few others and am thinking about some of the newer RC knives but still love the Laserstrike.

Congratulations, this one is lean and mean...
I remember it was differentially heat treated on the spine to offer better spark showers. A great piece of cutlery !

cheers

Hi,

another one just for the pleasure...

This is my good old Newt Livesay NRG... made the same days as the infamous RATK !
4 inches blade flatground, 1095 triple quenched, very very solid ! :)
There is some inspiration in it...

Someone knows if Newt is tills making knives ?

Cheers
