For sale:
Swamp Rat - Rat Mastiff LM. This is the original with the black coating and penetrator tip. Also including a black leather sheath. The sheath is something I made myself, so not exactly professional polished quality but it works well for this knife.
The knife is a user, but has been cared for well. No heavy sharpening, or major chips in the edge. It could use a touch up sharpening right now though. There are a few micro-dings in the edge, but nothing more than a hair's width, couldn't show it in a photo if I wanted to. They will sharpen out easily. As you can see in the photo there is some smoothing in the coating.
This is, IMO, the best knife Swamp Rat ever made and I would never part with it if I weren't in a bad way for cash right now. Can't use the knife when I can't buy gas to get to the trailhead!
