RAT necker arrived today!

Mine didn't come today either. I gave my wife whatfor for it not coming, she said it will never happen again and then gave me the finger when I turned my back.

Well, I'm going to go back to staring at the mailbox now....Where are those bonoculars?

Mine came in today. This little thing is a tank. It's built in a way that just inspires me to beat the hell out of it. I really like the finish the way it is, probably won't do anything to it (not in small part because I'm lazy). It's surprisingly comfortable in hand for a skeletonized, no-scales knife. Will probably become a regular EDC item as soon as I get a sheath for it. I like texastony's idea of using a BRKT sheath, I thought one of those might work for this.

Thanks Jeff and co for this cool little prototype. Will probably eventually get a production model anyway, but this guy is definitely going to see some use.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I GOT MINE!!!!!

I see all the stuffed animals shivering with fear. :p

Still not here yet. :( Well there's still the possibility they might come within the next hour. I don't live far from UPS and this area always seem to be their last stop.

hmm., uh.., Brett, we both have red hair and we're both named Brett, although I spell my name with only one "t" it still makes me wonder. What's your mom's name? haha!

seriously though, Congrats on the necker man!

alright guys and girls.

I think I've posted below the first attempt to cord wrap these bitches.

I am SUPER impressed with this knife and you can expect a cool video soon..

I really like the way you wrapped that, especially towards the end in the circle.

I'll try some other stuff, but won't be surprised if it ends up looking like that.

It came out really similar to a swamp warden tie. I love the hole in end!

the knot right after the handle end is superglued to keep it in place. Should stay put for a long time!

What kind of knot is that where the 2 cords meet at the end of the handle, before the loop?

It's just a cross over, normal knot. That's actually the one I superglued to keep in place. There's probaby a better one, but I'm not good at knots.

:)

I got a notice from UPS yesterday that mine is on the way . Brett, I really dig the cord wrap on that, I may just have to do a similar job on mine when it arrives.

Very nice job.

It's one tough little beast isn't it? That's a nice wrap job, looks a lot better than mine!

Hey Brett, how about giving us a tutorial on your wrap.

Do another video!

Great news everyone, IT CAME IN TODAY!! :D :D

I was so happy when I saw the brown truck drive up, I pretty much ran up to him. I love the necker, very good size and comfortable in the hand. Thank you again Jeff and Mike, and the rest of the RC team for this awesome knife!

Pictures soon.

Glad we could make a few of you guys happy by giving away these protos. There will be more drawings in the future.

I give!

I'll make a video this Sunday and post it.

Jeff, you are a good person and your generosity is more than appreciated.

You'll find that there are a lot of us who'll be customers for life because of your personal and professional philosophy.

Heck, I'm fixin' to order an RC3 now.
