I was thinking about the 550+ Rat Pack badges that are in the works, thats about $250 in shipping (42 cents per stamp). Thats alot of shipping costs, who is eating this bill ? Besides just the cost of shipping, there is production cost, and then organizing, packaging and labeling costs, who is paying for this, and really why ?
I know RC provides the badges, and then Mr. & Mrs. are the distributors, but why all this work to come out with these badges in the first place ? Honestly I would rather pay for a patch, and be able to wear it. Just curious why, please no offense to anyone/any thing or idea. It just seems like a ton of work to send out a free badge. Instead we could all pay for a patch & be able to wear it. I would honestly like to see the Shotgunners become RC dealers and begin distributing RC knives :D. All the work these guys put into this website, it would be nice to give back by buying RC knives from them. It seems like one more RC knife dealer is needed anyway, everyone else is out of knives and the exchange sells out in minutes as well. Sorry for spelling This is just MO.

Jeff is paying for the shipping and Jeff never does anything for no reason.

It's great marketing. At the small cost of these badges they get to inform a lot of people about who they are and gain new customers. Then you have all those people advertising rat products for free. The people will say "that's cool I want one" and they will look them up, join rat pack, and buy rat merchandise.
