the glass breaker's cool and all, but i can see it digging into my side when i carry it. as others have said, if the situation's that desperate, there'll be the tip to glass break with.

not that my opinion should count, i'm as yet uninitiated...
 
my little brother did that once, his hand bled a little, but the window was no more. hell, as a toddler, he put a toy popcorn pusher thing through a window. momma was a little pissed about that one.
 
When I was younger and slightly dumber, my friends and I would try to break windows in the junk yard with our fists.

You can break them if you hit them hard enough but they do alot more breaking you.

Later on I got smarter, I wore a leather work glove. Did you guys know that broken glass can cut through a leather work glove.
 
I have broken a window with a wiffle ball, it was on of those cheap $1 dollar weighs probably 2 ounces and is full of hole wiffle balls :confused:.

that's cool. broke one with a deflated ball one time, made of soft plastic with a cartoon character on it. alto saxaphones make nice glass breakers too.

I wasn't even trying to, I was playing wiffle ball and I was the pitcher. I guess looking back at the incident maybe home plate shouldn't have been right in front of a window :eek:.


Now chucks of concrete, pieces of 2X4's, and random heavy junk can break glass pretty easy.
 
I once broke in a window in a rather novel way.
Well almost broke it.

I was about 12, and i had a miniature backetball hoop on suction cups, it came with a little foam ball. I stuck it to the window of an old garage and played with it for a bit.

When i pulled it off one of the window panes came with it right out of the frame.

The bushtool doesn't work for me for the following reasons:
1. There are no good sheathes for the bushtool.
2. The crew would look at me funny. (OK they already look at me funny, but it would only get worse)
3. If I can get out of the aircraft then I won't need any of the rocks/bushtools lying around.
