There's a guy over in Gadgets&Gear that thinks he knows ALL! I kinda got into it with him a while ago but I'm just not even gonna deal with the guy anymore. I saw him post this

I saw firsthand what a .410 2.5" #7 did to a bad guy at 25' distance- all but severed his arm at his shoulder. Made him drop his UZI right there.

I'm glad he's on the internet cause I couldnt say that in real life with a straight face...

Hey mang, I beez a gun knut, too. I have no problem joking about guns. 'Course I get people pissed off at me on gun boards even faster than on knife boards, so I guess you have a point!

A lot of people REALLY know their stuff but the decade long Moron-a-Thon does wear on the nerves after a while. Oh, who am I bullshitting? I had enough of that after eight months on the Internet. :D
 
I do more lurking than talking on here. Someone told me long ago, that listening
(or reading in this internet age) is usually better than talking. You can learn more
if the ears (or eyes) are engaged and the mouth is dis-engaged.

Click on your own user name, go to statistics, and then to "find all posts by ..." scroll down, and start counting. At least, that's how I do it. If there's a better way, I don't know of it...

I think this is the only way..............or just don't ever post anywhere else.
 
Run an advanced search, put in your username and select only the RAT forum. It will come up 25(or less) out of whatever number of times you have posted here. For example, it will say "showing post 1-25 of 123".

That will tell you the number of threads you have posted on. You just might have more than one post per thread.

That's true. I just tried it that way, and it takes about the same amount of time either way. OK, this is post 25 for me! I'm off to see the wizard:p
 
I'm a lurker here too, as you can tell by my avatar and reg date. But damn if I don't want to be a rat pack member! :D

There's also an option at the bottom "Show Resulsts as" and make sure the posts one is ticked and it'll give you all your posts even if they're in the same thread.

EXACTLY!:thumbup:
In an Advanced Search, the "posts" box has to be chosen in order to get an accurate count of individual posts. Not checking that box will only show a count of THREADS responded to.

Gotta be a paid member to utilize the search function.
