I think someone brought this up before. The handles are ground down to match the tang on that specific knife so I don't think you can buy them separately. You could potentially swap them between knives but the lines might not be perfect and there may be some edges sticking up. Someone should come along who knows better than I.
the difinitive answer is no. They mate the handles and blade for the best possible match up and they are unwilling to sacrifice that fit to offer interchangable handles.
IMO it is a good policy. I know there is some desire to have it all in one knife, but HEY who has one knife????
No is the correct answer for all of the above reasons. We have the price right, reliability second to none and quality second to none. In order to keep it that way we insist on absolute strict control of knives going out being perfectly fitted in every detail and that includes handles. The scales and tang cannot maintain the current level of matching edges if we send out extra scales for whatever reason. We tried that years ago with another company. Call it being control freaks about our product quality but so far it has reaped us a pretty good rep for high quality knives. The removeable scales do allow you to disassemble the knife for extensive cleaning. Remember to use Lock Tite on the screw threads when reassembling the handles. Mike
