Two of the best things in the cutlery business...RAT's and SAK's!:D

Got any RAT SAK combos?

Nice pics bear! All of your SAKs are making me want one. I never owned one before, everything I need is in my Leatherman! That yellow one looks like something I will buy.. hmm...

well geeee, thanks! I was gonna hold off but now I'm really gonna go look for one.

NEVER OWNED A SAK? Well I guess I shouldn't be suprised. I have a leatherman but carry my SAK camper every day every where. looking to pair it with the izula. I was just thinking about what a great combo a RC & SAK would be. Very nice.

Yep RATs and SAKs are a great combo. I EDC a Vic Huntsman, Midnite Minichamp II, Spyderco Ladybug Salt, BM Mini Grip or Spyderco Delica4 so when going camping, into the woods, etc it'll just be a case of adding one or more of my RATs (Izula, RC-4 or RC-6).

Nice to see someone else putting the miniature screwdriver from the other SAKs into their Hunter corkscrew. ;)

I bought extra screwdrivers from Tim at FelineVet over on Knife Forums and keep them in most of my SAKs that have corkscrews.

Corkscrew?

In order of (my) preference: Farmer, Bundeswehr OHT and Soldier (pre-'08).

No toothpicks, no tweezers. ;) And no corkscrew! :D

That is a good use for the corkscrew, it also makes a really nasty push knife, when push comes to shove. :D

I mean, if you didn't want to end someone and you just wanted to make them wish they were ended, you could really work them over with that thing, it's an excellent improvised weapon actually. I would prefer on my Hunter to have...perhaps the excellent pair of pliers you find on the Champ.

I think Victorinox is really missing out on a great opportunity. I think if they had a customization website where you could order a knife with the stuff you want in it and they would actually make it and have it out to you within two weeks, they would make more money than they know what to do with!

Can you imagine the Hunter with a pair of pliers (some how!) instead of the corkscrew and instead of the serrated hook blade thing you could have the magnifying glass from the Champ? I love the Hunter though, it is great in the hand.

I used a Swiss Champ for over 10 years on and off and more recently for about 3 months straight. I found many uses for all the tools like taking off the black plastic thing covering the coax cable in the back of hotel tv's. This way I can attach my own vcr and or video game system. The saws make the very best strikers for fire steels. I also used the file to grab the last piece of petro cottom at the bottom of my film container.

Sorry mods if this has turned into another SAW thread.
