RAT SAK Combos

Corkscrew?

In order of (my) preference: Farmer, Bundeswehr OHT and Soldier (pre-'08).

No toothpicks, no tweezers. ;) And no corkscrew! :D

Really? I use all three of those items all the time.

Toothpick, cause sometimes I eat and run

Tweezers, cause we have this really nasty plant called Devil's Club that has will put its nasty stickers in you to get all infected.

Corkscrew because I occasionally enjoy those type of spirits.

You ain't tweakin' nobody! We care not if you don't have tweezers or toothpicks! So what if you're a girlyman! You simply prove, once again, that the greatest thing to ever come from Ohio is Catherine Bach. OH MY! Cleveland Sucks! Cleveland Sucks! :D

Cleveland Sucks! :D

Ah, the city with a tower that's Terminal overlooking a lake that's Erie.

Cleveland can claim a river (of water) that once was declared a fire hazard. And speaking of fire, a former mayor torched his hair while dedicating a bridge. The wife of that same mayor once refused to meet with the visiting First Lady because of a scheduling conflict (it was her bowling night).

I could go on, but Alex Bevan will have to suffice: "I'm a skinny little boy from Cleveland, Ohio, come to chase your women, drink your beer."

:D

For me, I tend towards my Izula and a 84mm Lumberjack (alox) for my EDC, but in the woods it is my RC4 and my trekker (not a OH) or fireman or pathfinder or.... you get the idea. I like my Safari Patherfinder becasue it isn't seen a lot these days, and the saw rips. Will have to post pictures.

My sister lives in Ashtabula. I've been to the Greyhound Bus Station in Cleveland and it's the strangest thing but the same guy that tried to sell me gold necklaces in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. was the same guy that tried to do it in Cleveland, Ohio! But he wasn't on the fookin' BUS with us! :D

Ashtabula has some of the nastiest scrub country I have ever walked. Played guitars down at some long and forgotten music store down in Geneva on The Lake as well...I think that's where I went.

This "guy" you speak of isn't an actual person, but a physical manifestation of that force of nature known as entrepreneurship. "He" exists all over the world in many different guises, accusing anyone who refuses his wares or dares to bargain for a better price of "Taking food from my babies' mouths."

Nice photos Bear. I like the yellow OHT. That would go well with my orange RC-3 that I keep with me at work. Right now the RC-3 is paired with a Rucksack for work.

Nice pairings. I should look into something like this. How usefull is the saw on those SAK's

Hi Africa Slinger,
welcome to the forums! The saws on SAKs are great for what they are. Don't expect to be cutting down any tropical forests but for their size they're great for cutting thinner branches up to 3-5", pruning branches, etc. You may have to tackle the cut from different angles but with persistence it can be done in relatively short order.
The Saw is one of those tools I have on most of the SAKs, along with scissors, that's why I find the Huntsman model one of my favorites.

Those little saws',for their size, are the best in the business.I also use the, toothpick, corckscrew, and tweezers, for Jarheads above mentioned reasons.

One of the reasons that I carry the rucksack is for the saw. They work very well for their size.
