Hi fellas, my name is Paul but my friends calle'me Paul'ie, I'm not a new be but I would like to introduce myself again, there's just too many Paul's, I started off with the Ratmandu and a short time later I bought the Rodent 9, then the Rodent Solution I stopped buying Swamp Rat's only because I bought some Busse C's omar Knives, I never planned it like this but my Swamp Rat's and my Busse Knives are similar in size, anyhow I got back to my Swamp Rat's and bought the Rodent Rucki which I think is a great bush knife with the choil I don't have to go to a smaller knife and I baton with mine too, then I got my Rodent 7 because I got a Busse Sarge 7 then I got the Son of Badger so I had to get the Rodent 4 but I had it thinned because my Rodent Solution came out a bit thick at the edge, and I also ordered my Rodent 6 I also had it thinned down and I had the top gaurd taken off and now it look's like a beefy Ratmandu on steriods, what a great knife, Swamp Rat Custom Shop did a wonderful job and the charge 30.00 it didn't take too long about 9 weeks but I got two knives worked on the RD and the R6 which took the longest, but if you want a tank of a knife and you don't mind a Tactical looking knife leave it alone, but I wanted a bush knife since I enjoy a hot c up of coffee on the open fire to me it just doesn't get any better I used my Rodent 7 and my Rodent 4 until I got my new Rodent 6 so the handle felt a little small, because the Rodent 7 is a much larger knife all around, but in no time I adjust to the Rodent 6 and it feels just great, would I suggest the Rodent 6 in a heart beat, If I lost my Rodent 6 or someone needed it more than I did there's no question I would get another one just the same as it is now, the balance is great the thinner edge is a great slicer too the warrenty is supper and Swamp Rat has a Custom Shop that other knife companies don't have, for the money in my opinion Swamp Rat makes the best knife in any style, I still like my Ratmandu because it was my first, but this Rodent 6 is a piece of work I wish you guys could put it in your hands it would speak valumes.
