what type of 154 CM, are they using in the swamp? I heard there was the regular 154 and a newer cpm 154 cm, that was of higher quality?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.... regular 154CM. I might add a damn fine 154CM too!!

It is not CPM154; it is 154CM.

We keep saying a little prayer over in the Scrap Yard forum that Dan will re-release the Street Scrapper 4 in 154CM with a satin finish. Here's a pic of the original Street Scrapper 4 in INFI:

I'm there bid522, I actually had emailed the scrap yard a week or two ago about the street scrapper 4. Being unfamiliar at the time with how things work at the yard, I thought everything on the knives page was available

I clicked on the link you posted and it put me on the main forum index page, I couldn't find the thread you are talking about, I would very much like to get a SS4.

There isn't any thread, Jack. It's just a wish among some of us who were around when the original SS4 was released and remember what a great knife it is.

SS4's come up on the Bladeforums exchange from time to time. But they're rare and expensive. You'd be better off trying to score a Scrapper 5 or a Scrapper 5 LE.

At this point it might be better, financially, to look at ordering the Boss Streets. It is similar in size but with micarta grips. Out of the two I am not sure which I would like better but I do think I will like the Boss Streets more than enough to justify its, painful for me, purchase price.
