No problem at all. I appreciate and respect other opinions. This is a personal taste thing instead of "wrong or right" and I was expecting that other Spyderco owners may prefer the original look.

It's absolutely beautiful. Did the stone washing reduce the thickness enough around the pivot area enough to introduce side to side play?
